Yalaha Country Bakery was opened on April 8, 1995, the dream of owner and founder Gunter Herold. Gunter comes from the romantic medieval town of Schwabisch Hall in Germany and patrons will immediately see and feel the Bavarian Schwäbisch Hall influence at the bakery.

Gunter's dream was to provide customers with hand-crafted and wholesome, hearty breads. Remembering the quality of good breads from the bakeries in his native Germany, he assembled a team of first class bakers who bake nothing but the finest bread and pastries.
